The track that you are listening to is Martin Setchell playing the Widor Toccata on the Rieger organ in Christchurch, New Zealand. This organ is pictured in slides 14 to 19. Martin is the organist who appears in many others!

]]>A small selection of photos taken in and around the Red Zone in Christchurch. I started the gallery using photos I took on July 30th, after the snow fall, and then added ones that I had taken from March to June, which included two visits inside the Red Zone.
While it is sad to see such destruction - and many of the buildings shown are have since been demolished - the greater sadness is the plight of so many Christchurch people who still live in a limbo of housing, jobs, and whose close friends or family members died as a result of the earthquake. It is now 11 months since the first shake - but the ripples continue, both literally and figuratively.
